About Me
Music has always been a part of my life. From starting piano lessons when I was 6 years old, to attending music camps while growing up, and now passing on my love of music to others through teaching. I graduated from Elizabethtown College where I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with a concentration in piano. I completed my Master's in Music Education at Lebanon Valley College in 2013. I have been teaching private piano lessons for about 10 years and elementary general music for 5 years. I am very fortunate, as I love my career in teaching. I cannot imagine doing anything more fulfilling than teaching others to play music. Being a musician and playing the piano is a life-long gift and skill that I hope my students will carry with them for years to come.
I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, Jesse, and our children, Valerie and Ian. We enjoy traveling when we have time, helping out at our church, and spending time with our family and friends. We also have a dog and a cat.
